Let's share resources and best practices for engaging early learners in STEM.  From the Department of Education to your kitchen, there are more tools our there for little learners than you might think. This meet up will highlight resources such as "Let's Talk, Read and Sing about STEM! Tips for Preschool Teachers & Providers", "Vroom", and others that focus on engaging early learners in STEM exploration. Many might think that STEM is hard to teach in preschool, this conversation will highlight that your never too small to STEM.

Broadening Participation in CS with AP CS Principles

This meet-up is for anyone who is interested in recruiting and supporting more students into CS courses and pathways. The new AP CS Principles course is in it's second year of full implementation and students are seeing success. Unfortunately, not enough women and other traditionally underrepresented minorities are signing up for the class. We'll discuss the new CS Principles course, who should sign up, and how to work with campus stakeholders to recruit.
